has anybody seen this message lately with femap express? doesn\'t matter what we try, we always get this message. :huh: [img size=621]http://www.solidedge.co.za/images/fbfiles/images/Image1.jpg[/img]

ok, so you can\'t see the message... it says: NASTRAN was unable to solve the model as it was defined by Femap Express. You might try changing the part geometryor mesh size or consider using Femap for this analysis. it doesn\'t matter what i model, i always get this message!

There is simliar post in the Solid Edge > Modelling Forum called \"FEMAP Express Error\". [b]Here is the answer to the post:[/b] This is a known bug in the nastran solver and is relate to a date check. Work around: Set your date back before 30 April 2009. This may cause some problems if you are using a demo/temporary license. Solution: There are special patches availble for V20 and ST. You can download it using your webkey account: ftp.ugs.com/solid_edge/ST/SEFemapExpressPatch/ ftp.ugs.com/solid_edge/ver20/SEFemapExpressPatch/ What does the patch involve: You need to replace C>Program Files>Solid Edge ST>FEMAP Express>nastran>nxn5p0m1i386analysis.exe with a new version which ships in a zip file. (Just a simple file copy and paste.)
