Hi All

 

I have created a point cloud of a cmm machine. The machine software puts this out as a dxf file. How do I

import it into solidedge. If I just open the dxf file (File,Open,DXF) all the points come in in a 2d view.

Any ideas on how to bring the points in in 3d

can you export an stl file. solidedge will read this.

you can create an stl from a point cloud using meshlab, which is a free download
